Elizabeth Kim

Elizabeth Kim studied art while growing up in Northern California and briefly as an undergraduate at U.C. Irvine before taking a 10-year hiatus from visual art, during which she traveled and lived abroad, worked in restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, taught English to English-language learners, and dabbled in creative writing. Her meandering path eventually led her to reside in Washington, D.C. a year before the pandemic hit. Once everything went into lockdown, she channeled her creativity and boredom into painting, where she still finds her most exciting expressions and explorations.
